Serve at Bldg 28 Church

Serving one another is the call for every Christian in the local church, and it is a vital piece of life at Bldg 28. Whatever your gifts are or what your schedule looks like, we have a place for you to serve!

Please indicate which Serve Team(s) you are interested in, and the leader of that team will reach out to you with more information. You can select multiple teams!

Covenant Members have attended our Membership Class and completed the membership process.

Be the first face someone sees when they enter Bldg 28! First Impressions team members can be front or back door greeters or work in our coffee shop.

Teach our youngest church members about Jesus! Our 28 Kids Ministry includes children in nursery to 5th grade. You can serve our children as a classroom teacher or helper. A background check is required to serve on this team.

Help minister to those in our community! Select this team if you would like to be a part of our outreach events to organizations like Pinellas Hope, Sheriff's Youth Ranch, etc.

Serve those in our congregation who are in need through prayer, hospital visits, meal train coordination, and more. This team is contacted for emergencies, tragedies, births, etc.

Serve in the production of our worship services through different creative and technical roles. Tech Team roles include broadcast camera operators, sound engineers, slides and lights computer operators, and photographers.

Lead our church in worship through vocals and instruments. Auditions for our Worship Music Team can be scheduled at request.

Help brainstorm, plan, and execute events at Bldg 28! Throughout the year we hold many churchwide, men's and ladies', newcomers', and children's events.

Help us take care of outdoor and indoor building maintenance and cleaning.

Ensure the safety of our church members on Sunday mornings and for special events. A background check is required to serve on this team.

Provide support for the foster families in our church by meeting needs they may have. We are so grateful for families in our congregation who welcome foster children into their homes. The heart of this serve team is to provide helping hands to these families as they care for their foster children.
